What is the difference between the old Hexagon™ 8 Stage Water Purifier and the new Hexagon™ 8 Stage Water Purifier?
Although both utilise the same against-gravity filtration concept through multi-layer filtration media, the new Hexagon™ 8 Stage Water Purifier has been improved in terms of design and filtration media.

I am currently using the old Hexagon™ 8 Stage Water Purifier. Can I just replace the current cartridge with the new replacement cartridge to enjoy the benefits of the new purifier?
Yes. Those who are using the old version of the Hexagon™ 8 Stage Water Purifier can now “switch” to the new version by just replacing the old cartridge with the new transparent cartridge. It fits the old casing and works effectively.

Is it safe to drink π water directly from the Hexagon™ 8 Stage Water Purifier without boiling?
Yes. The Hexagon™ 8 Stage Water Purifier gives clean, safe, health-giving water. Boiling water before consumption has been long practiced because people continue to believe that water contains bacteria. But actually, tap water treated in municipal facilities has been chlorinated which kills bacteria. Boiling water is no longer necessary for safety. Instead what is required is a good filtration and purification system that will remove all the other hazardous contaminants that are in tap water. These include chlorine, heavy metals, rust, lead and many others. Of course if you want to boil Hexagon water for beverages and for cooking, that’s fine.

Can I use the Hexagon™ 8 Stage Water Purifier for untreated underground water?
Untreated underground water can contain an extremely wide spectrum of contaminants. This makes it even more important to have a Hexagon™ 8 Stage Water Purifier unit. However, for this type of water, it is best to boil the filtered water before drinking. Don’t be alarmed if you notice any whitish specks in the filtered water after boiling. These are specks of calcium, which will form in boiled water if the water supply is high in calcium. Hexagon™ 8 Stage Water Purifier does not remove calcium because it is beneficial to health.

Will boiling Hexagon™ 8 Stage π water affect its health-giving properties?
No. When Hexagon™ 8 Stage π water is heated, the molecular clusters will temporarily break up. Once cooled, the water molecules will regroup to their original stable cluster arrangement with all their healthful properties intact.

Is Hexagon™ 8 Stage π water suitable for infants?

Can I run hot water through the Hexagon™ 8 Stage Water Purifier unit?
No! Hot water will affect the efficacy and efficiency of the Ceramic Filter and the Carbon Filter in the unit, thus compromising the quality of the filtered water.

Is Hexagon™ 8 Stage π water (with its alkaline pH) suitable for cleansing the face?
