Care and Use Instructions:

  1. Before using this cookware for the first time, wash it with hot, soapy water, rinse well and dry it thoroughly with a soft cotton or linen towel. To prolong the life span of non-stick cookware, rub cooking oil onto the non-stick surface after each wash.
  2. Always use low and medium heat when cooking. The use of high heat may damage the non-stick layer. Using low and medium heat helps preserve the nutrients in food as well as the non-stick surface.
  3. Do not use metal utensils with the non-stick cookware; they can damage the coating in a split second. The best utensils to use are wood, plastic, silicone, or specially-coated utensils designed for non-stick surfaces. All non-stick surfaces will last longer if you are careful not to scratch/damage the surface with sharp utensils or cut foods with a knife while it is still in the cookware.
  4. Do not overheat empty cookware. Always ensure that oil, water or food are already in the cookware prior to heating.
  5. Stop using the cookware immediately if the non-stick coating has peeled off.
  6. To avoid scratching or damaging the non-stick surface, avoid using the cookware to cook seafood that has hard shells.
  7. Always allow the cookware to cool sufficiently before washing or immersing it in water.
  8. To prevent the coating from peeling, always use a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge when washing the non-stick cookware. To remove burnt grease and food residues, always use warm water and mild detergent.
  9. Do not use the cookware as a food storage container as it can cause staining. It is recommended to keep the cookware clean when it is not being used.
